Ingrid, Juliet, and Kerry invited IATNC members Bani Malhotra Ph.D., ATR-BC, LPC and Dr. Mimmu Rankanen, to discuss the vision for art therapy + neuroscience research, evolving theoretical development in both art therapy and neuroscience, research-informed clinical tools, research "ecosystems," art therapy education and interdisciplinary collaborations. We also discuss the role of the Collective to advance education, research efforts, interest, and collaborations to grow the profession of Art Therapy.

American Art Therapy Association - (AATA)
Neuroscience Shared Interest Group
The American Art Therapy Association has promoted the organization of shared interest groups within its membership which provide members with a forum to exchange ideas, resources, and meaningful networking opportunities. Available to AATA members, the Art Therapy & Neuroscience forum is intended to share collective knowledge and probe less chartered terrain through collaborative discussion that serves to inform, advance, and enliven art therapy theory, practice, and research.
