Prof. dr. Susan van Hooren is a professor in Clinical psychology at the Open University of the Netherlands and professor in Creative arts therapies and Psychomotor therapies at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences. She is head of the Department of Clinical Psychology and head of a research center on Arts Therapies and psychomotor therapies, called KenVaK. She supervises several PhD students on effects and working mechanisms of arts therapies and she has many research publications in the field of arts therapies.
